About the event.
Think Mathematically! Designed specifically for rising 5th and 6th graders , this hands-on camp makes math fun while deeply focusing on problem-solving and critical thinking. Instead of just memorizing formulas , students will learn the Heuristic and Model approaches. These mental shortcuts allow them to solve complex word problems efficiently , developing a high level of critical analysis that is useful in many aspects of life.
About the Instructor: Alpa Patel Alpa is the Founder of Life of Math and a Math Specialist at Developing Minds. Holding an M.S. in Civil Engineering and an ACT Educator Certification , her ultimate goal is to spread the love for math. She makes learning joyful through innovative, hands-on instruction, pairing abacus-based whole-brain training with rigorous problem-solving to help students build confidence and truly thrive.
