Join our Enrichment Clubs!

Where high-level learning meets play, creativity, and child development.

Welcome to the Developing Minds Enrichment Clubs , thoughtfully designed after-school programs that bring the essence of our educational philosophy into engaging one-hour learning experiences.

Our clubs are intentionally created in 8-week blocks, meeting once per week, allowing children to build meaningful progress, confidence, and mastery over time. Programs are available for children ages 2–12 years old and take place Monday through Thursday between 3:30 PM and 5:30 PM.

At Developing Minds, we believe children learn best when instruction is developmentally appropriate, emotionally connected, hands-on, and joyful. Every club is carefully designed to nurture not only academic growth, but also creativity, executive functioning, confidence, communication, and critical thinking.

For all classes designed for children ages 2–3 years old, a caregiver or adult must remain on-site during the duration of the class.

Developing Minds Camps, Enrichment Clubs, and Group Programs are designed as small-group learning experiences that foster independence, social interaction, and active participation.

At this time, Developing Minds does not provide one-on-one aides, individualized behavioral support, or continuous personal assistance within these programs. Students must be able to participate safely and meaningfully with the support typically available in a small-group setting.

If a child requires continuous one-on-one support or specialized assistance to participate successfully, families may be asked to provide an accompanying support professional or caregiver, and enrollment will be reviewed on an individual basis to ensure the program is an appropriate fit for both the student and the group.

Our goal is always to create an environment where every child can thrive while maintaining the quality, safety, and integrity of the learning experience for all participants.

MATH CLUBS

Learning math through understanding, reasoning, and real-life application.

At Developing Minds, we believe mathematics should be experienced, explored, manipulated, and understood, never simply memorized.

Our math programs focus heavily on:
• Number sense
• Mathematical reasoning
• Problem-solving
• Mental flexibility
• Confidence with numbers
• Conceptual understanding

Children engage in hands-on learning experiences, games, manipulatives, movement, and real-world mathematical thinking that cultivate deep understanding and higher-level thinking skills.

READING CLUBS

Science of Reading aligned instruction taught by highly trained educators.

Developing Minds is deeply committed to evidence-based literacy instruction grounded in the Science of Reading.

Our reading programs are intentionally designed to prevent learning gaps while helping children develop strong literacy foundations through explicit, systematic, and developmentally appropriate instruction.

These classes support:

• Emerging readers
• Children learning to read
• Homeschool students
• Students needing additional literacy support
• Dyslexia intervention support in a small-group setting

Our educators are highly trained in literacy development, phonological awareness, phonics instruction, comprehension, vocabulary development, and intervention practices.

WRITING CLUBS

From fine motor foundations to written composition.

Our writing pathway is intentionally designed to support children from the earliest stages of handwriting readiness all the way to higher-level written expression.

We believe writing should feel meaningful, creative, connected, and joyful.

PLAY + LEARN CLUBS

Our Play + Learn Clubs combine learning, creativity, exploration, and joyful experiences through hands-on, child-centered activities.

What Developing Minds' Enrichment Clubs Offer

Enrichment Clubs are fun, immersive, hands-on sessions led by our expert educators. Each session focuses on different aspects of a subject area to learn and  play, helping children develop creativity, problem-solving skills, social interactions, and exploration.

Real-World Learning

Exposure to essential disciplines such as engineering, sewing, coding, visual arts,  often missing from traditional education but vital in real life.

21st-Century Skills: Every session nurtures critical thinking, collaboration, creativity, and innovation, skills children need to thrive in today’s world.

Screen-Free Exploration:

Hands-on, engaging activities designed to spark curiosity and joy while keeping kids away from passive screen time.

Out-of-the-Box Thinking:

Immersive experiences that challenge children to solve problems, take risks, and express themselves in new and meaningful ways.

These are NOT structured classes, these are guided play experiences that allow children to learn naturally through movement, creativity, and discovery.
