The Play Lab at Developing Minds is a thoughtfully curated, immersive learning environment designed to ignite wonder, inspire exploration, and celebrate the natural way children learn, through play. Tailored for children ages 3 to 6, each session offers a vibrant mix of sensory, artistic, linguistic, mathematical, and dramatic play invitations that awaken curiosity and promote meaningful, hands-on learning.
Children don’t just play, they dive into a world of discovery. Whether they're building, painting, sorting, storytelling, or problem-solving, the Play Lab invites them to explore freely and follow their interests in a carefully prepared space that sparks critical thinking, creativity, collaboration, and joyful engagement.
Each invitation is purposefully designed to support holistic development across cognitive, emotional, social, and physical domains, encouraging children to question, experiment, create, and make sense of the world around them. Through this type of open-ended exploration, children naturally build the 21st-century skills that matter most: problem solving, resilience, innovation, and communication.

Our team of speech therapists are passionate about helping children grow through engaging, play-based interventions that support communication, emotional regulation, and social development.We are excited to partner with Developing Minds Learning Center to offer PlayTots and Friendship Builders, enrichment clubs designed to foster early language development, early social interaction, cooperative play, and foundational social-emotional skills. Led by experienced speech therapists, these classes provide a nurturing and fun environment where children can build confidence, friendships, and essential life skills.With expertise in speech and language development, motor coordination, and social pragmatics, our therapists are uniquely equipped to support children of all abilities. Whether it's through imaginative play, group activities, or structured games, we make learning meaningful and joyful.
Marcela Lopez, Marcela is a Colombian graphic designer and the founder of Hello Party, a creative studio specializing in event design, decoration, and handcrafted details. She is passionate about creating vibrant, joyful, and immersive environments, whether it's styling themed celebrations, curating unique tablescapes, or bringing creative ideas to life through personalized designs.With a natural gift for connecting with children, Marcela integrates play, imagination, and visual storytelling into her work, making each project both meaningful and memorable. She brings energy, precision, and a deep love for aesthetics to every space she transforms.Outside of her creative work, Marcela is a coffee lover, dog enthusiast, and someone who cherishes quality time with family and friends.
