A playful, hands-on early math class designed to build the strong number sense foundations that children need for future mathematical success. Through games, manipulatives, movement, stories, and meaningful exploration, children develop a deep understanding of numbers and mathematical relationships long before memorization and algorithms become the focus.

Research shows that strong number sense is one of the greatest predictors of later achievement in mathematics. This class helps children develop flexibility with numbers, mathematical thinking, and confidence through developmentally appropriate experiences that make math meaningful and enjoyable.

Children work on:

• Counting principles and number relationships
• One-to-one correspondence
• Quantity recognition and subitizing
• Number comparison (more, less, equal)
• Number composition and decomposition
• Patterns and early algebraic thinking
• Sorting, classifying, and categorizing
• Spatial awareness and geometry concepts
• Early addition and subtraction concepts
• Mathematical vocabulary and communication
• Problem-solving and reasoning skills

Through rich, hands-on experiences, children develop the foundational mathematical understanding, confidence, and curiosity that will support all future learning in mathematics.
