PlayLab is a sensory-rich, play-based class designed specifically for children ages 2 to 4, a critical stage of development when the brain is rapidly building the foundations for language, learning, social-emotional growth, and executive functioning. Through sensory exploration, movement, music, open-ended play, and carefully curated learning experiences, children develop essential skills in a joyful and engaging environment.
The class focuses on strengthening crucial developmental areas, including:
• Sensory processing
• Fine motor skills
• Language and communication
• Creativity and imagination
• Social interaction and cooperative play
• Problem-solving
• Executive functioning
• Emotional regulation
• Independence and self-confidence
Language development is intentionally embedded throughout the class, with activities designed in collaboration with Speech-Language Pathologists to support vocabulary growth, communication skills, social language, listening skills, and early conversational abilities in natural and meaningful ways.
PlayLab provides young children with rich opportunities to explore, communicate, create, and develop the foundational skills that are most important during these early years of life, all through the power of play.
