Friendship Builders is a fun, supportive social communication class designed for children ages 4–12. Led by expert pediatric speech-language therapists, this class helps children strengthen their social skills, pragmatic language, and overall communication abilities in a nurturing, play-based environment.
Children will practice essential skills such as turn-taking, sharing ideas, reading social cues, expressing emotions, initiating and maintaining conversations, and even repairing communication breakdowns, all while making new friends.
Through collaborative games, role-play, storytelling, and guided interactions, students will learn how to confidently navigate social situations, regulate their emotions, and develop meaningful peer relationships. Activities are carefully designed to meet each child's developmental level and support language growth, self-awareness, empathy, and flexible thinking.
