Alpa Patel is the founder of Life of Math (LOM) and a math educator since 2010. With a master’s in engineering and ACT tutor certification, she makes math joyful and engaging through innovative, hands-on instruction.At LOM, she pairs abacus-based whole-brain training with rigorous grade-level math focused on critical thinking and problem-solving. Her programs lift school performance through teacher training and in/before/after-school offerings, and her ACT/SAT prep has helped many students raise SAT Math scores by 100+ points—including perfect PSAT/NMSQT results. She also mentors students on high-school planning and résumés, and many have gone on to top universities.
