Red, yellow, blue? Learn how to mix any color and paint the world around you. Students will learn color theory, how to mix color, and work with watercolor and acrylic paint. They will learn the principles of art from value to form so they have the tools to bring their ideas to fruition. Students will learn from the great painters like John Singer Sargent,Wassily Kandinsky, Claude Monet, and even Mark Rothko. Hone in your painting skills and bring your ideas to life!
Painting Lab (7-12)
Chloe Snook is an artist and teacher based in Orlando, FL. She earned her Bachelors of Fine Arts with a minor in Art History and Printmaking at Ringling College of Art and Design in Sarasota, FL. She specializes in a variety of mediums and skills ranging from draftsmanship, printmaking, oilpainting, and ceramic sculpture. She also has more than a decade of study in piano and violin. For the past two years she has been teaching during her summers home from college with her own business in which she created a curriculum which explored art history, a variety of mediums, artists, and modern artist jobs.
