Is it a stamp? Is it a photo? It’s printmaking. Students will learn a multitude of printmaking methods including: cyanotypes, linoleum block prints, and monotypes to name a few. Students will engage with the different mediums and processes while also exploring more conceptual ideas. We will also look at famous printmakers like Warhol, Hokusai, and Degas and the history of printmaking.

Chloe Snook is an artist and teacher based in Orlando, FL. She earned her Bachelors of Fine Arts with a minor in Art History and Printmaking at Ringling College of Art and Design in Sarasota, FL. She specializes in a variety of mediums and skills ranging from draftsmanship, printmaking, oilpainting, and ceramic sculpture. She also has more than a decade of study in piano and violin. For the past two years she has been teaching during her summers home from college with her own business in which she created a curriculum which explored art history, a variety of mediums, artists, and modern artist jobs.
